Official Launch of the Punjab Socio-Economic Registry (PSER) Project

The Punjab Socio-Economic Registry (PSER) project has been officially launched across the district under the guidance of Chief Minister Punjab, Maryam Nawaz. This initiative aims to assess the economic conditions of households throughout the district and includes the enumeration of livestock in villages. To ensure the project’s success, interns have been recruited for a 75-day period to assist with data collection.

Key Components of the PSER Project

The PSER project focuses on collecting comprehensive data on the economic status of every household in Punjab. This will include key information such as family income, household conditions, and livestock in rural areas. The data gathered will be used to identify deserving beneficiaries for various government welfare programs.

  • Roshan Gharana Solar Program

  • Scholarship Programs

Only those who complete their registration in the PSER project will be able to apply for these programs, ensuring that the benefits reach the rightful individuals.

How to Register for the PSER Project

The government has made the registration process as simple as possible. Citizens can register in the following ways:

  1. Online Registration: Individuals can register through the official Punjab Socio-Economic Registry Portal at www.pser.punjab.gov.pk.
  2. Registration Centers: For those who cannot register online, there are 199 registration centers set up across the district where citizens can complete their registration in person.
  3. Helpline Support: A helpline (02345-0800) is available to guide individuals through the registration process.

The Deputy Commissioner of Sargodha, Captain (R) Mohammad Wasim, emphasized the importance of accurate data collection to ensure that only eligible beneficiaries are included in the welfare programs. He also directed local authorities to ensure the smooth facilitation of citizens visiting the registration centers.
