Big news for the farmers of Punjab Chief Minister Punjab Unveils Agriculture Transformation Plan has been launched to provide concessions to farmers.In this plan, 60 percent discount will be given on agricultural machinery.
- This program is initiated to provide farmers with modern machinery so that farmers have more tools and improve the agricultural sector.60% discount will be given on all machinery used in farms.The registration of this scheme has been started and the farmers who want to register in this scheme should register before 31 October 2024.

Eligibility Criteria for the Agriculture Transformation Plan
- Farmers must be a permanent resident of Punjab.
- A farmer must own agricultural land in Punjab or must lease land.
- Small and medium farmers should own up to 12 acres of land.
- The age of the applicant should be between 18 to 60 years.
- Preference is given to those farmers who have completed the agricultural training scheme organized by the government.
- Financial documents showing limited resources are required.
- Both male and female farmers can apply with special provision for women farmers.
