Livestock Card
Livestock card has been launched by Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz through this card, cows and buffaloes will be provided free of charge to widows and divorced women under this scheme, all widows below 55 years of age and Free cows and buffaloes will be provided to divorced women only. The main objective of the Chief Minister of Punjab to start this scheme is to help poor and widowed women who cannot meet their household expenses by providing cows and buffaloes to them.
Registration for this scheme has been started. If you have any poor or divorced women in your house or near you, please let them know so that they can register themselves in this program. It is very important for the married woman to have a copy of her husband’s death certificate or divorce certificate and a copy of her identity card and the SIM of the mobile number registered in her name. And to empower divorced women. Under this scheme, free cows and buffaloes will be given by the government and the cost of fodder will also be provided so that the women can earn their livelihood and live their lives in peace. Complete Registration Procedure
To apply in this scheme, the applicant can get registered by visiting their nearest veterinary clinic
- Step.1: To apply for the scheme, the applicant must first visit their nearest animal hospital and carry all the necessary documents with them.
- Step.2: An application form will be provided to the applicant when they visit the nearest livestock office
- Step.3: An application form will be provided to the applicant and he/she will have to enter all the information like name, identity card number, contact details, livestock details etc. and also attach the necessary documents with this form.
- Step.4: When the applicant fills all the details on the application form, he/she has to submit the application form to the staff present there.
- Step.5: The staff there will verify the information about the livestock farm and accommodation from the applicant
